In Andy Rooney style I must comment on that press secretary by saying "do you ever get tired of people that either will not give you a straight answer or send you on a cruise to nowhere? This man is adept at being nebulous and uncooperative with the press. I cannot remember a relationship between a press secretary and the esteemed members of the press that was as adversarial and confusing as what we have. The more he bobs and weaves and the more he sends them in another direction or in a continuous manner claims that he is not allowed to address issues, the more suspicion arises that there is a snow job lurking somewhere in the room.
I know the American people are getting very uneasy and afraid of the future. Every recent poll answers what is historically the most important question and that concerns the direction the country is going in. Not too many respondents are happy campers. I do not have space for all the troubling issues but I will tell you that the partisan locked door and the C Span lock out are really bothering the American people. One problem is that many observers may think a flipped Congress can be achieved and they should listen up. Historically speaking that is going to be difficult and not likely considering the huge advantage in seats the Democrats have. Do not forget that there are long time Democratic Senators and Congressman out there who are long time incumbents who managed to lay low during the turmoil. Their constituency, is not likely to fire them based on a paint every politician with the same brush attitude. Then again exists the possibility of Obama solving the economy or apprehending #1 and then it is going to be business as usual. Let's go further and say if a massive breakdown in our country occurs that is threaded to the administration and it's policies there could be a horse on the rail shot at winning Congress for the Republicans, Independents, Undecided and Hispanics. I would like to see a coalition of voters pull this off because where I sit I am thinking of investing in a pharmaceutical company whose principal product is an antidepressant.
